Just as with any service, life coaching ranges widely depending on the life coach and the country you reside. We have listed fees for life coaching in three countries where these services are the most prevalent. Keep in mind that these figures are merely estimates and shouldn’t be viewed as being completely accurate.

United States

Professional life coaching ranges in the U.S. at anywhere from $75 to $300 per session. Some coaches will provide one session per week and bill clients on a monthly schedule. You can expect to pay anywhere from $250 to $1000 per month for this type of service, though some may be slightly higher or lower.

Ireland

In Ireland, life coaching fees vary from about €75 up to €400 or more per session. Its been reported that some even charge as much as €700 per hour. Many coaches offer the first session at no cost. Others will provide discounts when sessions are purchased in blocks.

Using the latest currency exchange rates, it appears that the fees for life coaching in the UK and Ireland are higher than in the U.S. Is this because there are more coaches in the U.S. therefore, very competitive rates are offered? Or is it related to the quality of life coaches in these three countries? Is it also because of the per capital income differences?

Good question. I have no idea. I doubt if it has anything to do with quality. Maybe people in the UK and Ireland understand what a great thing coaching can be better better than those in the us :)
